Position Summary:

We are looking for experienced medical billing services manager. Candidate will be responsible for the analysis of patient records and determining the legitimacy of treatment, diagnostic testing, admissions, etc. Must have a detailed knowledge and understanding of ICD-9, CPT, and HCPCS coding classification systems; He/She be familiar with insurance rules and regulations. Knowledge of managed care contracts, workers' compensation legal requirements, and fee schedules may be required. Knowledge of computerized billing software (e.g. Medisoft, IDX, Meditech, Medical Manager, etc) is required. CMB or CMBS certification.

Requirements:

• Experience and knowledge of HCFA-1500 and UB92.
  Knowledge of Electronic claims and payment posting , rebilling, denials and correspondence is a MUST. 3+ years experience desired
• Collectors with knowledge of HMO, PPO, Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid. Strong knowledge of denials and EOB is a MUST. Worker's compensation experience will be a plus.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, patients' rights and medical-legal aspect of information release.
• Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS Level II and ICD-9 coding principles.
• Ability to analyze medical reports (i.e. EOB.)
• Thorough knowledge of insurance company contracts including Medicare for claims processing. Proper telephone etiquette, and the ability to work well with others.
